FREE DUMP DAYS UPDATE
At a recent Selectmen’s meeting the Board voted to cancel this year’s Free Dump Days due to the current COVID pandemic and also because the new Solid Waste Center is available for disposal of all residential items. The vote included cancelling future events as well since the new facility can accept all items 5 days a week (Tues – Sat) 8:00AM – 3:45PM.
Did you know the following items are 100% FREE to dispose of:
• Household trash
• Recyclables (separated)
• Universal Waste – Bulbs, Batteries & Thermostats
• Waste Oil (to Gilford DPW Garage)
• Brush, Leaves, Grass Clippings
• Asphalt
• Concrete without rebar
• Logs (less than 6” diam. And 6’ length)
• Metal items
• Propane Tanks
Items with minimal fee to dispose of:
• Tires (incl rims)
• Electronics (TV, printer and computer)
• Appliances with Freon (fridge/freezer, AC, humidifier)
• Mattresses & Boxsprings
• Carpets & Pads
• Furniture
• Construction & Demo Debris
• Roof Shingles
